Just not quite...

Here's another recently botched caricature....see if you can guess.
The renderings getting better but my likenesses and exaggerations aren't really anything to write home about lately...
AH WELL, its all practice..

may not be the best caricature (have no clue who it is), but i really like it as a drawing!

um gillian anderson? I dunno, I don't know a lot of celebrities. On your caricatures you really shouldn't be afraid to push the exaggeration. I think you need to be playing around with the distance between the features more. A lot of really good caricatures just don't look like they're pushed really far because they're so well done (especially the fancy digitally rendered stuff), when in reality the features are really exaggerated.

but again maybe you should ask someone else too, since I'd rather shoot myself than draw a caricature right now.

yep, renderings gettin' better. I don't know who she is, but don't take that personally, I'm just bad with celebs.

Keep 'em comin' dude.

naw...I based the image offa Maureen O'Hara. Plus I need to really work on some exaggeration and observation skills for any future caricatures...
I just do them for fun lately..

Thanks for the feedback guys..

I looked her up - it's actually a pretty good likeness (and a really nice drawing)

I think its the jaw that's throwing it off, her jaw is wide and very close to her bottom lip.

It's a fine likeness, don't know why you always beat up your own likenesses. AND it's a great render!

Personally, I'd have made her jaw more square, and not quite so rounded off.

It's still a good likeness. I knew who it was right away.
